Daniel is listed in 1860 as a member of his father’s (Jonathan’s) household where he is presumably single. However, in the 1870 census, he is in his own household with his wife and children, two of whom are reported to be more than 10 years old, which would make them alive during 1860. Is their age incorrect in the 1870 census, or are they children of their mother from a previous marriage?Census Data
