then S 45° W 200 rods to a spruce tree, the north corner bound of lot #57;
then S 45° E 70 rods to a spruce tree;
then N 45° E to the head line of said Thomas Wasgatt's lot [see note below];
then N 45° W to the corner bound of said Wasgatt's lot;
then N 45° E by said Wasgatt's lot to the bound first mentioned.
Note: These last three directions indicate that the northwest side of this lot and the northwest side of Thomas Wasgatt's lot were slightly offset from each other.
