A major part of this web site is the online Vining genealogy in which an attempt is made to use the best technology available to genealogical researchers today. The goal of this genealogy is to document as much of the information as possible by posting images of supporting material.

This web page lists the oldest living Vinings and is divided into three categories--males, females born with the name Vining, and females descended from a Vining but not born with that name.

THE SURNAME VINING IN THE 1790 CENSUS
A function of the 1790 census was to record all the households in the then United States. As many 1790 Vining households as have been found are posted here.
