This book included all known cemeteries for the Hancock County, Maine, town of Trenton. ("We [the authors] have knowledge of at least 5-6 more cemeteries in Trenton and will be continuing our search for them.") For each cemetery, there are directions, a description of the cemetery, and various notes (e.g., oldest grave, oldest birth date), plus the date of the transcription. Sometimes there is a map of the cemetery, and there are many photographs of gravestones and of the people who are buried in these cemeteries. An index to all surnames is provided as well as a list of "Trenton Veterans of War" and transcriptions of the 1790 and 1800 censuses for Trenton.
