Auburn Cemeteries
Androscoggin County, Maine

(updated 13 May 2008)

Welcome to the Auburn Cemeteries web site. The purpose of this site is to provide basic cemetery information and pertinent notes so individual researchers will not have to "reinvent the wheel" by tracking down the same material that others have already found.

The list of 27 cemeteries below follows the GIS map overlay from the City of Auburn web site.

Directions to the various cemeteries begin from one of two points. The first point, called "intersection A" below, is the intersection of Court Street and Minot Avenue / Union Street. At this point Routes 202/11/100 make a right-angled turn. The second point, called "intersection "B" below, is the intersection of Court Street and Main Street (= Route 136).

All information, especially source material, for inclusion in this web page should be sent to info@vfthomas.com or mailed to "Auburn Cemeteries; V. F. Thomas Co.; P. O. Box 400; Southwest Harbor, ME 04679".

A little work by each of us will save a lot of work for all of us.
