Directions to trail head. Just north of the village of Soutwest Harbor, turn west (at Eugene M. Norwood Square) from Route 102 onto Seal Cove Road. In approximately 0.5 miles turn right onto Long Pond Road and follow it to the end where you can park near the pumping station at the south end of the pond. in less than a tenth of a mile on your left is one end of Cold Brook Trail (ANP #117).
