Route. Between Great (Long) Pond Trail (ANP #118) near south end of Long Pond) and Gilley Field

Directions to trail head. Just north of the village of Soutwest Harbor, turn west (at Eugene M. Norwood Square) from Route 102 onto Seal Cove Road. In approximately 0.5 miles turn right onto Long Pond Road and follow it to the end where you can park near the pumping station at the south end of the pond. (Note: there is no swimming allowed in this public water supply.) Walk past the pumping station, past this signpost on your right, the south end of the Great (Long) Pond Trail (ANP #118), and ...

in less than a tenth of a mile on your left is one end of Cold Brook Trail (ANP #117).

This trail runs southwest approximately 0.4 miles to its west end at Gilley Field.
