Turn right onto Crooked Road, and the cemetery is in the pasture on the left in approximately 0.1 miles.
History. Although this cemetery is called the Emery Cemetery on the 1981 7.5′ Salsbury [sic] Cove topographic map, the earliest graves belong to the Thompson family.
Notes. During the summer of 1999, major improvements were made to this cemetery—brush was cleared; fallen gravestones were propped up when possible; and a fence was repaired to protect both the cemetery and the remains of an old iron fence.
